Poppy is a very "up", high drive, high energy, active dog. She enjoys farm life, from herding cows, to chasing off coyotes, to letting me know there is a new calf and where it’s hiding, to playing in hay bales and catching mice. She loves our daily long walks and adventures. Poppy is very intuitive. She knows if I am doing something stupid and I need help. In the house she has a good off switch and will relax, but she needs to know where I am and what I'm doing at all times. She is always ready to help. In training she is smart as a whip, but tends to anticipate what I'm doing next, so I have to constantly change things up to keep her on her toes. She loves doing tricks and her eyes just sparkle with enjoyment when she knows we are going to work on something new. She is a super happy dog and can be very silly. She makes me laugh every day. I'm so glad I have her in my life.
